Dating and relationships among young couples , especially university or college students have become so rampant and it is an unavoidable and unspoken truth that most campus students always end up being in a relationship during their time at campus. According to a study by Break the Cycle, more than half (57 percent) of college students who report having been in an abusive dating relationship said it occurred in campus. This confirms that there is possibility that campus students will still experience some form of an unhealthy relationship, therefore, it is important to be aware of the signs.
Some
signs of an abusive relationship, according to the National Domestic Violence includes when your partner :
· Tells you that you can never do anything right

spent away
· Keeps you or discourages you from seeing friends
or family members
· Insults, or shames you

· Takes your money or refuses to give you money for
necessary expenses
